Molecular Medicine Chloe Erikson grew up outside of Seattle, Washington, and attended Washington State University (WSU), becoming the first person in her family to earn a four-year college degree. Chloe began her research career as an undergraduate lab assistant in the Lab of Alcohol and Addictions Neuroscience under the mentorship of Dr. Brendan Walker. During graduate school, she transitioned to Dr. David Rossi's lab, where she took on various leadership, teaching, and outreach roles. Chloe graduated with her Ph.D. in Neuroscience in May 2023 and started as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Marisa Roberto's lab at Scripps in August 2023. Since joining the lab, she has assisted with various projects, helped initiate the formation of an LGBTQ+ alliance on the Scripps campus, and presented her lab's research findings at the annual Research Society on Alcohol meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Outside of the lab, Chloe is an avid tennis player and beachgoer.
